Oh, I just had one idea. A silk pillowcase. That is very protective of hair and skin, and it's a luxury. Still would love more ideas!

My dd was on “minimal activity” for almost a month due to her spine injury and then got To start using a big exercise ball and nice arm bands. she progressed from there to gobs more equipment but depends on the specific surgery
In her most restricted time she read, drew, listened to music, watched tv and movies and cried a lot honestly. As She was allowed to walk more her siblings took her to movies.
