A resounding "yes".
Sometimes annoying behaviors are just going to be there. Obviously, there are values that I want to instill in my children, and I want them to learn to be kind and respectful of others. But sometimes, I'm going to need to accept that I'm not cranking out clones here. My children are complex individuals, and I'm not always going to be able to pound a square peg into a round hole.
