There was a big conversation about this recently with a bunch of friends on Facebook. Apparently a lot of people don't use flat sheets.

I don't think dh would if it weren't for my love of them, I love th cool, fresh, smooth feeling on top of me and having them tucked in tight at the end of the bed holding my feet snug.

My kids don't use them.
