Hi, I'm working on making some jam, and I've sort got myself into a jam
. So I was finally able to get a hold of some mason jars, but now I have pectin problems. I have 2 seperate recipes; one recipe calls for "1 package powdered fruit pectin" and the other calls for "1 box of pectin". How do I know which kind of pectin to buy? Whay happens if I use too much pectin?
