I think the Duggars recipe say that the dry detergent is front loader friendly? I use the liquid version and I just use Ivory instead of Fels-Naptha.

I just recently made my own Dishwasher detergent. Equal parts Super Washing Soda and Borax. I put it in an old pop bottle and shake it to mix and then use two little capfuls in the locking wash cup. Then I add a little bit of hot water to that and close it up. It has cleaned very well and no dry soap on any of the dishes! I also use vinegar in the rinse section.

I use vinegar.for.EVERYTHING. I have probably four bottles that are mainly vinegar and water with a dash of soap. This is my main cleaner but I m soooo excited to try some of the other ones that have been mentioned. The vinegar sprays are great because my DS (5) can help clean if he wants

Does anyone know if the peppermint scrub will take off soap scum and rings from the tub?
