Oh, goodness! I have one of his books! I like to own books by punitive authors so that I can be more aware of what they teach, directly from their own writings, and so my mom buys them for me sometimes at second hand bookstores. Anyway, I have one of his parenting books, and it is awful.

Isn't it wonderful how as they get older people stop doing that? I'm so sorry for the pain you've experienced and still experience.
