I'm sure more people will be along. For math I highly recommend Teaching Textbooks. You can do sample lessons on their site and they have tests to give your child to see which level they are ready for. Those were especially helpful with my older kids coming out of public school, since what their school teaches at a certain grade level and what the national standards are were two different things.

Most of the larger Family Christian stores IME tend to have a homeschooling section with samples and open boxes of the major curriculums they retail available for looking over.
If you are drawn to one brand, call them and see where you can find it locally. Most have at least one retail source or home school charter or group in major areas that use it and will meet with you so you can go over the product and talk to people who actually use it.
