Verizon towers provide the only reliable service where I live, unless you stay in town all the time. So the super awesome deals aren't available to me. Except Google Fi. But I'd have to buy a different phone. I'm leaning toward a used LG. But, for now, I'm switching to Total Wireless because they use Verizon towers and our Samsung phones are compatible.

If you live in a metro area, you should be able to get a great deal with all the competition.

Verizon is beta testing a new discount plan with unlimited talk, text, and data for $40/month for the first line. I don't remember what the costs are for each additional line. It's currently for iPhone only but they plan to add Android soon.
