Yeah, I visited the inlaws by myself (well, with dd) and his mom asked if I was developing any community as a SAHM. I talked to her about my fight or flight incident when a group of moms was talking about spanking and I very strongly felt the Holy Spirit telling me to flee. That led to a discussion about how badly she felt about spanking her kids, and how she regretted following all the Dobson stuff....I asked her to tell that to DH, and she sent him an email. Yes, as much as I often feel a bit out-of-place here since I'm not fully AP, I feel like I do have much more in common with the mamas here than many of the mamas I know IRL.
