AFA whether or not 1cm is too big to flush- I managed to flush out 2 that size with no problems... However, they didn't tell me that I had a golf ball sized stone as well so I ended up in surgery after it became lodged in the duct & no one was able to manually dislodge it.
FWIW- if a stone becomes lodged, just have the gallbladder removed.

I had them try to dislodge it & after 45 minutes of trying, all they had succeeded in doing was make me vomit repeatedly from the pain.
