If you don't know how small the stones are, absolutely do not do the flush.

I went to the ER after 6 hrs of intense pain, while 21 weeks pregnant and concerned about baby. I had literally been up all night and when I went to the ER, I saw my co-worker in registration (I work there) and just started crying.

My last childbirth was a walk in the park compared to that pain. You have your own threshhold. The medications they can give for pain are incredibly helpful and felt SO good. But there's also the breastfeeding issue so make sure you have a stash for baby as well as a pump. I'm building a stash right now for both when I return to work part-time and also when I do the flush.

I had them VERY frequently for about a two month period just before the ER visit. YES, vomiting can help. If you need to, do it. I tried and tried last time and couldn't do it so ended up doing the tub and heating pad thing. Also, with heat, if you have a rice sock you can heat up in the microwave, that's helpful.
