A friend worked on it too and she got cos(a)/cos(b) = 1 also. So maybe a=b is the answer.

a doesn't necessarily equal b, because multiple angles have the same cosine value. For instance, cos90=cos270=0. But 90=/=270.
What is actually super frustrating to me is this problem looks incredibly familiar to me, and I feel like I have answered it before. Haha. It would have been years ago so I can't remember exactly.
