I'm thinking about how I use mine and I've never put raw meat on my cutting boards. I rarely cut raw meat and, if I do, I do it on a plate or platter and put it in the dishwasher. If I have a big roast, I scrub the cutting board really well with hot soapy water and then pour a teakettle of boiling water over the whole thing.
I should oil, them, too. Maybe today. We're stuck inside because of smoke.
