How to oil cutting boards and wooden spoons?
Wood will dry out over time, so protecting those things with oil is a good idea. Mineral oil is recommended when I search, but is that a good idea considering you'll be consuming a little of whatever oil you use as you use your boards and utensils? Other oils will turn rancid after a while, although it seems refractionated coconut oil might not. What are your findings or feelings and how do you maintain your wood? Mine is dry and thirsty.
