I am notoriously needing help reading patterns. (I am thankful that my daughter is great at it.)

I do see where the one piece is sc in each st to end...... from beg
measures 24 ins

If you use the yarn suggesting, it is only about 120 yds of yarn in each ball. A G hook is small stitches,so I can see it taking 7 skeins when you are doing pockets also.
