I used Dr. Ellie's program for awhile and then did some more research on fluoride and decided I just wasn't comfortable with using it. There are so many options out there and so much to wade through! We still buy and use her mints and gum. My teeth are actually loose because I grind so much and I have cracked my teeth too. I spent over $1000 on a splint several years ago and it didn't help. I went to a new dentist when I cracked my last tooth and he said I had the wrong kind of splint.

He wanted to sell me only that only cost $450. I don't have the money, so I am just trying to do whatever I can that doesn't cost a fortune to help my teeth.

My oldest daughter had terrible decay about a year ago. But it was related to severe vomiting and digestive issues (reflux) she was having. We have mostly solved the digestive issues now and she has not had more decay.
