I'm so burned out on menu planning. But life is so much easier when I do it. I want to do 6 weeks worth of plans soon.
An idea I got from The Lazy Genius is to have categories and then 3-4 recipes/meals for each category. I think my winter categories will be:
Pantry meals/fast meals (no time to prep nights)
Soups/stews
Sheet pan
Bar meals (i.e burrito bar, baked potato bar, etc)
Asian
Friday night (dh cooks but I end up doing a lot, he always makes either chili or pizza)
Then you plug in categories to days, a month at a time. Then you just plug in the recipes you have under the category.
