Brownies!
I need some nut-free, but delicious, no-fail brownie recipes. Any you can share with me? I'm baking some brownies for an event, and they all need to be special and tasty. Help!

Re: Brownies!
I use the Baker's Owl-Bowl Brownies recipe and leave out the nuts :shrug3 (I don't like nuts in my brownies) - quick and easy and I can do it with dc. Only changes is that I only use 1 2/3c sugar and put the bowl with the butter, chocolate and sugar back in the microwave for 1.5-2min on 70% or so before adding vanilla and eggs - helps the sugar dissolve better. I use ww flour and bake for half the rec'd time, so 17min. Yum :), and perfect every time :yes. (Though I might bake a wee bit longer to take somewhere ;)).

I love the Bakers One Bowl recipe, too! I bake it in a 8x8 pan, and it's like an insanely delicious fudge.

Re: Brownies!
my best brownies recipie:
1/2 c butter 2 squares of unsweetened baking chocolate 1c sugar 2 eggs well beaten 1t vanilla 1/2 c flour 1/4 c coco 1/4 t salt 1/2 c nuts - but I have uesed coco nibs or pomogranit. melt butter and chocolate together in a sauce pan remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients pour in to a greased 8" square pan bake at 350 for 25-30 min if you don't want to melt chocolate this one is good. 3/4 c melted butter 1 1/2 c sugar 1 1/2 t vanilla 3 eggs 1/2 c coco power 3/4 c flout 1/2 t baking powder 1/2 t salt heat oven to 350 beat butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla. mix in coco flour baking powder and salt stir until just combined pour in a 13"x9" pan bake 20-25 min |
Re: Brownies!
Dark Chocolate Brownies - these are from a woman I know from another message board. Totally amazing. We previously used the Baker's One Bowl recipe but have totally ditched that for these. She mentions how to vary the type of chocolate used and we have found that we like them with 1/2 dark cocoa powder and 1/2 regular cocoa powder. I usually used dark chocolate chips or a chopped dark choc bar, but semi-sweet also works well.
So yummy |

Re: Brownies!
These are the most delicious brownies I have ever had:
http://www.naturallyknockedup.com/he...free-brownies/ And they are healthy! I forget who posted the link before, but I gotta keep spreading it, hehe. They are too good. So moist, delicious, and rich chocolatey taste. I brought them for xmas dinner at the inlaws, and everyone was crazy for them there too! (and they are super junk food eaters but couldn't even tell they were beans instead of flour) |
