14 half-pint jars and 2 pint jars of fig preserves 8 half-pint jars and 1 pint jar of blackberry jelly (half already given away) 4 half-pint jars and 1 pint jar of peach butter (gave away 2 jars already) 6 pint jars of dill pickles (gave away 1 jar) 5 pint jars of salsa (gave away 2 jars and ate the other 3, MUST MAKE MORE) Still need to make plum jelly blueberry-lemon jam watermelon rind preserves spaghetti sauce picalilly green salsa Chime in and share what you are canning this summer. :yum |

Is canning is scary as I think it is? I'm scared to invest in canning stuff and suck at it :(
I'd love to make some jams and chutneys and tomato sauces :D |

I'm a beginner canner as of the end of last summer. I canned four quarts of pickles last night.
