Candida diet recipes
 

I'm starting a candida diet as soon as the rest of my supplements get here (they should be here early next week) and my restrictions are no dairy, sugar, soy, wheat, yeast, citrus, vinegar, or beer. Obviously no meat or fish either as I'm posting this in the vegetarian/vegan recipe board.

I'll be using this thread to post recipes and menu ideas over the next 8 months. :tu

I've been trying new recipes in preparation and tonight's dinner was SO GOOD.

Spinach and Rice (1 serving)

Ingredients:
1 cup cooked brown rice
2 cups fresh baby spinach
1-2 T sesame oil
2 t crushed fresh garlic
salt and pepper to taste

Heat sesame oil in a wok over medium high heat. Add a good 2 t of crushed fresh garlic (or more if you like really garlicky food). Saute till lightly browned, about 30 seconds. Add about 2 cups of fresh baby spinach. Saute till lightly wilted. Add cooked rice and stir gently till heated through. Throw in a bowl, salt and pepper to taste. :yum
