Inspire others with your words! Sally Clarkson post link
If you don't follow Sally, here is a link to a lovely post reminding us how much power our words have and reminding us what God says about our words!
http://sallyclarkson.com/speaking-wo...t-give-life-2/ "Excusing our offensive, unsolicited opinions with comments like “no offense” is still offensive, friends. Our culture has made it quite easy and comfortable for us to hide behind computer screens, iPhones, and iPads, offering out our every thought on blogs and social media with no immediate consequences and no tear-filled eyes staring back at us. What a different world we would live in if instead of viewing every thought that runs through our minds as something we are entitled to share, we took every thought captive out of obedience to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5)." :heart I needed this today. :heart |

Amazing, couldn't agree more. I correct my 9yo when he starts a sentence with 'no offence' (just a phrase he uses sometimes to preface an opinion unnecessarily) and encourage him to just share his opinion. But there are people around us that do exactly what this post is talking about. And when I'm not up to par I'm not careful with my words either, it's a weakness.
