Mini crockpot or fondue set?

For a reasonable price?

I would like to serve some sort of fondue on Christmas Eve. I might borrow from my mom except that I think we'd use it regularly :think

Check thrift stores! That's the kind of thing people get rid of when they realize they don't use it. I see mini crock pots all the time at goodwill.

Or ask your dh to check facebook yard sale if you don't have time to thrift.

But I bet Wal-Mart and Kohl's will also have them on sale.

we use our fondue pot a few times a year. My son always declares it's his BEST meal - every time. typically we do it Christmas or New Year's Eve, maybe for Valentine's day & once or twice in the fall. Mostly cheese but little man wants to try all the ways. I think I'd go with the fondue pot. Ours is electric.

We LOVE fondue. We hardly ever do it, though. Dh and I had fondue in the Swiss Alps, very happy memory. I need to make a point to have it this winter. Maybe for one of those nights between Christmas and New Year's.

If anyone is dairy free, chinoise fondue doesn't use cheese. https://www.helvetickitchen.com/reci...ondue-chinoise
