help! brussels sprouts
...sadly the frozen ones, not fresh.
I need a way to cook them that renders them as tasty as possible to kids. No dairy or tree nuts, but I do have daiya. Not involving a lot of work or time would be good too. :giggle |
Re: help! brussels sprouts
I don't know if it would work with frozen ones. You'd have to defrost them first.
I separate them all the leaves and stir fry them with garlic and tamari/soy sauce. It's a bit of a pain but it's the only way most of us will touch them. (Dh likes them steamed :ick-but he's British :shifty). |
Re: help! brussels sprouts
Try thawing and roasting them. Once they've browned a bit, you can add a splash of cider to the pan to glaze them. It's even better if you use bacon fat and a sprinkle of crumbled bacon, if you eat such things. :yes
