That statement is just...NUTS. It doesn't even make me mad. I'm dumbfounded.

It's fundamentally unserious about the most serious possible concerns. It's punditry, ala a political flack touting the party line to rally the base, at the expense of truth, or even a little nuance. :-/ It fails utterly to take seriously the humanity of children and parents.
