Hands On Essays...have you used this?

I just ordered this since my dd is starting high school, and I need to strengthen our Charlotte Mason approach with some strong essay writing skills. On the website, though, there's a message saying that the videos will no longer be available after May 2019. http://www.handsonessays.com That's enough time for us to get through the course, but I assume it will be missing instruction without the video for those who use it later. Unless it's like Teaching Textbooks where everything he says on the video is also written down in the textbook? I guess that's my question, will the basic instruction be there without the videos, and do you like the program?

Hmmm...if you click on the three dots on the bottom right corner of each video...it appears these could be downloaded. :think

And the book is currently available on Kindle Unlimited.

Sorry I have no experience.

Oh, good, I'd want to download them. Thanks!

I wonder if she's coming out with a more expensive dvd set or something.

It didn't sound to me from the note on the website like she was taking down free stuff to replace with something more developed...it sounded like she was letting go, having moved on to a different season in her life.

I assume that leaving it posted would mean that the website would continue to charge money, people would continue to email for help, etc. So part of letting go to focus on other things would be to take it down.
