I need the BEST salad dressing
 

I need the best vegan salad dressing you have.

I'm tired of covering my salad in high fat dressings.

I'm vegan, but I have things like soy Parm cheese that I can add to a dressing...

I like SPICY, something like a zesty Italian ish would be FABULOUS. Or maybe a zesty ceasar ish...

Ideas???

I really like a simple oil and vinegar, of course raiding the spice cabinet per my taste buds. Balsamic has been very nice lately.

None of my dressing are low fat, but they are vegan & raw :)

This is, like, the best salad dressing ever.

Take a bunch of garlic and dice it.
Take a couple of oranges and squeeze them. Take out the seeds. Use OJ if you don't have the fruit.
Take some fresh basil and julienne it.
slice some mushrooms and toss them in.
add olive oil and vinegar.
cover it and put it in the microwave for about three minutes.
repeat until the mushrooms are soft.
salt and black pepper to taste.

let cool. skip the mushrooms if you want to
but you can just serve it by itself with them.

Pour over mixed greens and you're set.

Well, *I* havent' heard it before! :) I have a quart of that stuff sitting in my fridge. I'll add s&p, and some olive oil, and call it salad dressing! Thanks! :)

My parents have to the best one ever that has paprika, sugar and other herbs as a dry mix and then you add vinegar and oil.

I will ask the exact recipe this evening.

This one sounds good, I'll have to tweek it. I don't have a microwave and we don't like mushrooms. But I think it would still be good without and I'm hoping I can just keep it raw.:think

Try a google search for vegan lemon tahini dressing maybe? Probably not the exact same one but you might find one you like! :heart

Growing up my mom would sprinkle Spike on the salad and then sprinkle oil and vinegar. It is yummy!

My fave homemade dressing is an olive oil, maple syrup, dijon combo. yum.
