does this quinoa experiment sound good or gross?
 

make quinoa in rice cooker
saute some onions in evoo
throw in a few diced roasted red peppers
throw in the quinoa with some oregano and/or italian seasoning
salt and pepper maybe

Help me tweak it!


I'm making oregano chicken in the crock pot and need a quinoa side- and I'm out of fresh garlic. I do have it powdered though:think

broccoli is the other side I'm making

Yum! That sounds good :) maybe some time :shrug or some shredded carrots in with the onions?

Sounds good as is and here are a few tweaks:

Add crumbled goat cheese (or feta) and toasted pine nuts or walnuts
Add fresh basil

I would add some basil also and maybe a little olive oil so it wont be dry?
