Easy first knit cable project
and or easy things to knit in the car on a looooong drive.
i need my knitting mojo back (i've been crocheting dishclothes and cowls for way to long because they are quick and easy and mindless lol) and am hoping to get it back on the drive to and from florida (from wi!) so 24 hours in the car to knit knit knit! i love bulky stuff, cuz you know instant gratification:shifty:shifty:shifty but am open to worsted weight too and those inbetween. ive never cabled anything and wouldn't mind trying. im open to several ideas but was thinking of either hats or cowls or slippers or something about that size that i could easily finish one or two of |
Re: Easy first knit cable project
Cables aren't very hard to learn. There are some small cable needles of different sizes available in most places you buy yarn at. I just got a book of seamless knits for dogs with lots of ideas I'm anxious to try (my new dog is a Chiwinny with very short, thin hair. He is still a puppy and was born in Tennessee, so our wi winters may pose a problem for him if I don't get a few sweaters made for him.)
I will have to think on what would be a good suggestion for your drive.:doh |
