Has Anyone Tried the FreshTec Line From Ball?
I'm curious and seriously considering at least the home canning system this year and then maybe the jam & jelly maker next year. I have a super-tiny cooktop and no matter what the burners aren't level. I tried to compensate last year to make jam and it did not work well. Even with brand new burners and drip pans and using an actual level to install them, it does not level out. So yeah. $300 is a bit steep, but fool proof canning of shelf stable vegetables would more than make up for the outlay.
Any experience or thoughts? |

So, it works like a pressure canner so that you can put up vegetables and other non-acidic foods? If that is the case, I could see spending the $$$. If not, I wouldn't spend that much on something that would only do pickles, preserves, and high-acid foods.
