Flower Essences... DIY?

Is it possible to collect your own flower to make essences? Has anyone in the group done this?

I've been eyeing my neighbor's black walnut tree ever since we've been talking about walnut essence for transition.

I make them. Walnut and many trees are a different and more difficult process though. I've only made pine that way and it was for a mom that lost a child so I was motivated. Otherwise, I buy tree essences and make the other easier ones that I have access to.

Which ones?

What scale? A few dozen flowers? A few hundred?

I've made a few dozen at least. Maybe a hundred. Pretty much everything that grows here that might be useful. Which isn't nearly enough lol.

I'm not really comfortable anymore sharing here how to make them at this point. You can pm me though. Or there is always google.

dr google has thorough instructions :)
been brewing my own for years.
to make one essence you may only need one flower. it's not a distilling and or steeping process.

Would removing this from the public forum help the conversation?

Because I came here to talk about the subject and refer to what I've gotten from Google not get turned away.

i'm def. not turning you away :hug it's a deeply personal and spiritual process for me, and i only teach people to do it in person :heart i'm happy to answer more generic parts here though :yes
(and we can chat on the phone about this too, but i know it's so hard for us to find the time)

Since those that have done this are holding their knowledge closely to their chest does anyone have any links to sites they find trustworthy for instruction? It's been my experience at least with herbalism that some sources are better than others but as a newbie it's trial and error till you find a truly good resource

Re: Flower Essences... DIY?

It really is trial and error and I don't know that I've seen a link I would share here. There is a lot of strange stuff out there and while I have no issue spiritually with what I do and how, I've seen too many people learn about energy work and turn away from God. For me it has quite the opposite effect. For that reason I will be more cautious with what I share here in the future.

Re: Flower Essences... DIY?

I'll be very honest with you: what i know would require writing of a book. it's not about holding this knowledge to my chest :no

please understand that the spiritual science and art of flower essence making, in my personal but firm opinion, cannot be appropriately shared through a message board :peace

if you have a specific question--i'm here ;)

there is no source that i agree with 100%. in fact, there are points on which my opinion is vastly different from what's out there.

the McEssence is Bach flower essences. the makers of rescue remedy.
flower essence services i believe are a great place to start, and not nearly as McEssence as Bach. (i also like their products)

it's been a lifetime journey for me. is started before i could read. ;)
