Recipes for a yummy dessert that is completely grain-free?
My MIL and SIL just found out that they can't tolerate wheat or any other grains. I want to bring a yummy dessert for Christmas at SIL's house, but I want to make one that we can all enjoy! Ideas?

This Pumpkin Streusel Pie is grain, sugar, and dairy free. It is so, so yummy. :)

I've made this a couple of times and it's very yummy, if you can tolerate the almonds. http://www.thespunkycoconut.com/2010...es-part-2.html

Is dairy ok? Eggs?
I'd do a chocolate mousse, creme brulee, or a flan. |

I make a fudge with just butter, honey, vanilla and cocoa. DD, my mom, and I LOVE it but dh hates it so I don't know how they'd like it. If you'd like the recipe, just poke me :). You can do it with coconut oil instead of butter if they are dairy free.

These recipes look awesome, thanks!! They can eat eggs and dairy, so that helps (although MY little guy can't do the eggs). I can't wait to try some of these (or maybe all of them....)

If they can do eggs and dairy, a custard or pudding would be perfect.
Have you ever had a fruit fool? It's essentially pureed fruit mixed into whipped cream. Something like this. Super duper easy and the kidlet would love it, I'd bet! (Mine are partial to mango or strawberry.) Oh, and you can dress up a fool with chocolate and whole fruit in a pretty dish or trifle bowl. |
