Woohoo!
Awesome apps that I really like: Cheftap (drawback is that it won't currently sync across multiple devices. :( ) Converter (unit conversion) Baby Care (tracking weight for sprite. Also has many more functions to track but I don't use most of those. For weight, it includes the WHO chart as an option. :tu) Astrid for task management. Best I've found so far, I like the ability to assign tasks to DH. Cool Reader is a good program for reading e-books. Overdrive. Yes, I really DO like taking out library books at 11:30 at night while nursing the baby. :tu Games: - Gnome Village - Shipwrecked - Tiny Monsters (all of these three are build-a-village types, but NONE of them gives you quests that involve going and looking at all your friends' villages and inviting them to yours. I HATE social networking pressure games. Tiny monsters is probably my least favourite of the three.) - Do you like logic games? I have some that I really enjoy, I can come back with names in a bit. - Temple Run :shifty |

Sodoku
Period tracker/Calendar (My DH even installed it on his own phone so we can keep track of my cycles together :O ) Run Double C25k pro (couch to 5k) Home Remedies Weatherbug Pro Kroger (It's the only grocery store around here and I like how I can just push coupons on the ap and they instantly load to my kroger card) Organic Diet Buddy is cool...It rates fruits and veggies according to what you need to buy organic and whats "safe" to by conventional. It also directs you to your nearest farmers markets and local food sellers. I'm sick of angry birds but it's fun if you've never played it and great for if you need an instant distraction for a fussy kiddo Netflix--love it! Kindle Nook mint pandora |

Re: We need an Android apps sticky :-P
Ok, now that I have had a smart phone for a few weeks, I have a few apps.
Facebook Messenger to get notification from Private Messages on FB. I like that I can chose who gets through that way and can also turn it off at night. It turns itself back on automatically in 8 hours which works for me. Facebook App which makes it easier to use FB :shifty Tapatalk which makes it easier to use GCM and it's now free. :yes It seems to be working fine so far. Touch Bible because I gotta have a Bible. My son recommended the paid version but I got the no frills free one. Gleeo Time Tracker which allows me to categorize my activities. This way, when I am wondering what I did all day, I can look and see. It helps with my time management and personal accountability. ;) Dropbox which allows me to easily share photos between my laptop and cell phone. Weight Tracker which is a no frills weight tracker. I wanted one which did not want too many permissions. This one just tracks my weight period. Phone Schedule which allows me to schedule times when my phone is silent. This one is more complicated than I needed but it had the best reviews and seemed be the most reliable one out there for free. It is easy to use and works well so far. I also chose Android Weather to replace the Accuweather Widget which came with the phone because it kept saying "showers" when the website said none. But it did the same thing and I like the AccuWeather one better. :shrug Anyway, if you want a nice Weather Widget, Android Weather seems pretty cool. I just find the AccuWeather one more visually appealing. |
