Prime Day -- July 16-17, 2018
 

While I've always taken a peek at what was available on Prime Day, I've never looked forward to it like I am this year.

My kindle e-reader died last month. It was over five years old so, while I'm bummed, I'm not exactly sad.

I lost my Garmin VivoFit2 while hiking on Saturday. :cry. It was a Christmas gift from dh 2.5 years ago. It still worked great.

So I have two things to look for that are highly likely to be on sale.

Anyone else have a wishlist?

Last year I think there was a good percent off books all day? I should figure out what literature I need next year for homeschooling before Prime Day.

Thanks for posting about this! I'm usually so NOT impressed by Prime Day, and yet, I can't help myself from checking it out!

I wonder if they do any good Audible deals? I've been on an Audible kick lately because I've been driving my daughters to school that is an hour away - 1 way!!

Is she outgrowing the fit2? My dd still fits well in mine, which surprises me.

I hated my vivofit but love love love my forerunner. :heart

Still not sure if I love or hate DD's RF car seat. It's inexpensive and stable. But not awesome. She's 21 lbs.

What else do I need right now? :thinking

She fits fine it and seems to like it. Took a 2 hour nap in it today (we just drove around some and parked in shade some).

I just don't like that she can only ride in it for 7 more months, right? I don't know which one to buy next.

I'm considering some kind of fitness tracker. :shifty I should compile a list of books and school supplies. And I need to make a decision about an Instant Pot.

Yes to the instant pot. I use mine all the time, and I already had a stove top prusher cooker that I used a lot.

We can shop for fitness trackers together. :) I don't want to spend a lot. The reviews on the no-name ones aren't good so I'm going with a name brand.

I LOVE my Instant Pots. I have 2. The biggest one and the regular one. The big one can't be used for rice and grains unless you're making a lot. I usually make 3 cups of dry rice at a time and I use my smaller one. I use my bigger one for roasts and broth. I tend to buy the biggest roast I can find so we have leftovers. If I was only going to have one, I'd get the regular size, unless you don't plant to cook grains in it.

Runners tend not to like the VivoFits. I'm a hiker so it was perfect for me.
