But... pretty is not a pre-req for food photos. I'm a visual person and I do much better seeing dishes and meals in their final states. :yes PLUS, food is always pretty. :shifty And pretty delicious.... :giggle

Italian Meatballs with Marinara (I subbed 1 lb turkey for the 2 lbs pork and left out the egg), GF spaghetti, Mixed greens with balsamic vinaigrette, Honey lime rainbow fruit salad

I thought we were having a crock pot casserole with chicken, white northern beans, kale, qunoia and pasta sauce. That was till I noticed the chicken breast still in the fridge. I sure hope I put pork in there instead of tilapia. I guess tonight is really mom's surprise casserole.

I don't think I'll have time for a photo tonight since we barely have time to eat.

One Pan Healthy Sausage and Veggies (I subbed a few spears of asparagus from the garden and zucchini for the green beans). I'm serving it over rice.

If you haven't had the drip beef it should immediately go into your rotation. Brainlessly easy and *always* a huge hit at my house:

chuck roast
1/2 of a 16-oz jar pepperoncini, including juice
3 heaping Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 c beef broth (somewhat optional)

Cook in crockpot on high several hours until it shreds easily; put meat onto ciabatta rolls and top with provolone cheese; bake/broil until cheese browns. Freeze the extra meat for an easy meal another day :)

I make Italian beef all the time! Pepperoncini on the side (can't find corn free).

It's VERY good. It's fine without using starch to thicken.
