Stripping Cloth Diapers?

I just started CD'ing a week ago. I was all my diapers before they are worn, with detergent made for CD (BG brand) with hot water, and I add in boiling water.

I rinse all my poopy diaper very thoroughly in the toilet till when wrung out, the water is mostly clear.

However, I put DS2 in an older diaper today, that I washed with regular load of diapers, and it gave him a terrible blistered diaper rash. Its terrible. :sick

I remembered after the fact that I had used some of my prefolds to clean when I moved, and used stuff like PineSol with them. I of course never intended to use them as diapers again, but I forgot. :doh

Anyways, I wrote RAG on that diaper in permanent marker, and it won't be used again, but do I need to strip all the diapers now?

DS1 has not had any breakouts of any kind. I probably should to be safe though, right?

How do I strip them? :shifty

Here's how I strip them:

- regular style wash to get all the stuff out (hot/cold wash, small smidge of detergent, a little oxyclean). Re-rinse with warm.

- hot wash with a small amount of regular blue Dawn, rinse warm (I have to remember to switch the cycle before the rinse).

- remove from washer, boil in my giant pressure scanner pot (without the lid, I don't pressure cook them).

- toss back into washer, rinse one last time.

It is kind of excessive, but our water is hard and that works for us. I sometimes use vinegar in the regular rinse of the regular wash part, too. So far, this thoroughly strips the living daylights out of my cloth, and completely eats up my day.

I'm slightly unclear, though. Do you think you have any more cleaning rags in with the diapers? Or just that the cleaning rag in there contaminated the rest? There might be something else you'd have to do to get rid of some of the chemicals in the diapers, but I'm not sure what.

I think it was one cleaning rag that may have contaminated the rest. His butt is all blistered and looks like a chemical burn. Since I wash with boiling water, I am kind of afraid that I got the stuff into the rest of my brand new diapers. Gah!
