Hmmmm. The benefits sound great, but... coconut? Ewwwwwww. There is no taste in the world that makes me gag more than coconut... I'm half-retching at the mere thought. :sick2 Any way to get (at least some of) the benefits without any coconut taste at all? :think

I read on one site that they have it in pill form, too. It may not be the best, but it is better than none at all. :-)

Sometimes hating a food is a sign of a sensitivity to that food. If it bothers you that much, then it probably doesn't have any benefits for you. I feel the same way about fish, and it turns out that I am mildly allergic to it. So, no matter the benefits of eating fish or taking fish oil for other people, there are no benefits in it for me. Might be the same for you with coconut oil.

I mixed it into tea (and cappuccino) last night instead of eating a spoonful. I could taste it in the tea but not the cappuccino and it made my lips soft and soothed my throat. didn't last long but for the time it was nice.

Tropical triditions forment their coconut oil in processing. Some of the other brands say no formenting. So I figued formenting wasnt good.I dont exactly know what or how the formenting process goes but it doesnt look like a good thing.
