How do you like to clean your tile floors?
 

I've been spraying a mix of water and vinegar and wiping with a Libman cloth mop. Works okay, but seems like floors are still dirty because my white socks show it!

When I used Method it seemed to make the floor a bit tacky.

This is exactly what I do :shifty
We don’t have tile anymore; we have hardwood laminate. But we used to use a steam mop when we had tile. I think I got it for $100– shark brand.

We don't have tile anymore but we used to.

For spot cleaning I use diluted vinegar and a microfiber cloth.

Dish soap and hot water, scrub with a rag.

Adding a little dish soap to my water vinegar mixture made a big difference for me.
Our last place had very textured tile and I found every now and then it just needed to be scrubbed with a scrub brush. Slicker tile, on the other hand, you have to be careful not to get too much soap and wring the mop well to avoid streaks.
Also maybe this is super obvious to everyone but me, but it seemed like a lifehack the first time I saw someone do it: mop barefoot, and if there's a stubborn spot use your foot on the mop to scrub it.

I wash them with my tears... ok... exaggeration... I hate them.

I do as the post above with a plastic bristled brush.

Just a washcloth and hot water and scrub on my hands and knees. Any other kind of cleaning doesn't last as long.

I wash with a mixture of hot water, vinegar, and a little dish soap. Scrub with a rag (and brush where needed) dry with an old towel. My tile is supposedly textured, but it still gets very slick when wet. In between scrubbings I use a steam mop, but that does nothing for the grout.

I loathe and despise my tile floors. I will never put it in myself. :no Next time I want hardwood, cork, or maybe stone tile in the kitchen.
