PSA for Mobile Users

I'm cheap. I haven't purchased TapaTalk. However, I've found the Chrome browser for iPhone/iPad to work REALLY well with GCM and it's free. ;) I don't even view the mobile version of the site. Lately, almost all my viewing is on the iPad, with a little phone and computer mixed in. Just thought I'd mention, since not everyone likes to pay for apps. My issue is not being able to get a "lite" version to know if I'd even like it before dishing out the cash.

I've always used Safari and had no problems. And I don't use the mobile version either.

On a somewhat related note, who would we talk to about a Tapatalk module update for GCM? Tapatalk recently came out with Tapatalk HD for Android tablets but it appears GCM needs an update of some sort before one can start getting notifications through it? Maybe I'm not understanding the pop-up I keep getting correctly... Sorry for thread stealing... I probably should have started a new thread...

I'm confused as to why one needs tapatalk for Gcm. I use safari without any issue.

I always use Safari too :yes No problems with spoilers or anything, I just have to make it a bit larger or I click on the wrong thing sometimes :shifty I also don't like answering PMs using my phone, but that's because it takes forever to write as much as I usually want to say :giggle

I've used Safari for GCM the entire time I've had a smartphone and never had any issues. It opens multiple spoilers with no problem. I don't use the mobile version either.

The only thing that is frustrating to me is not being able to hover over the threads and see the first line. I would guess that's the case for any type of viewing on a mobile device though.

I always use Safari with no problems. My only complaint is that it's hard, though not impossible, to leave rep messages.

Yeah, I just hold down the rep button and then choose to open on a new page.

I've never had trouble leaving rep on my phone :think it closes the box once, just like with search, but then I open it again and it works.

I use both Chrome & Tapa. I never, ever use mobile sites, hate them. Tapa definitely has its benefits. :yes It loads super fast and you only see what you really need to see-- avis and the text.
