that sounds kind of creepy. I have been thinking of quitting fb for awhile, and this is just another incentive. .

Facebook's going to make me more emotionally connected? :rolleyes I'm about over it, and I've been doing facebook before they went public. I think that fb is starting to realize that their time is about up.

I think this really hits the nail on the head. I HATE the new changes, and the lack of prinvacy, and the advertising, but that's all anyone in my circle uses anymore. We don't even email, we just FB message. :sigh

Me too. I have Google +...but no one else in my irl circles does.

I don't think I'm ready to completely shut it down, but I'm definitely on the verge of going from "checks it obsessively" to "checks it a few times a week".

This is what creeps me out, some friends are very close but some are people I barely know and don't what them to know everything about me..

You know they won't care if people like us leave. They'll still have the nieve(sp?) teenagers who will post anything for anyone to see, so they'll still have a huge group of users.

I think I like the timeline idea. I'm constantly wishing I could go back and read old statuses. I loved when they put old status updates on the side.

I was thinking of keeping facebook formy family- since its they who insisted I join up.

Ever since the changes, I am getting WAY less hits on my blog. I use do share on my FB group and Bammo, 20 hits right off the bat and then more from shares. Now by the end of the day it's up to about 5. :(
