How do you clean your bath tub or shower?
 

I need to get mine cleaner. The house we will be moving into is perfectly clean! It would be nice to keep it that way.

Right now I have fiberglass all one piece tub/showers. I use baking soda with a little water to scrub the bottom of the tub and rarely ever do the walls.

I need to do better! What do you do?

Dawn and vinegar diluted with water. Baking soda if I need it

I use ecover on fiberglass with a plastic scrub brush. On tiles and grout bleach coated left to sit then scrubbed while rinsing if needed.

I often use the time I need to let the hair conditioner to work to clean the shower. I use to clean one wall at the time. And another wall next time. And the floor another time.

I scrubb the shower with Ecover and a plastic brush. And when the hair conditioner has worked long enough I rinse my hair and the part of the shover I have cleaned the same time.

I also want to know the tools you use. Sponge, rag, hand scrub brush?

ETA: I grew up using Soft Scrub and a sponge. I've been using baking soda and a scrub brush on the bath tub and just wiping the walls with a wash cloth as needed. Thinking I need something to spray on for the walls. New house will be tile.

I used Magic Eraser on a small area tonight on the fiberglass shower and it worked well, but it would use it up too fast to do a whole shower.

I keep one of those dish brushes that holds soap in it in the shower. I fill it with dish soap, and when I'm in there showering I just scrub all over. Works great.

I saw this idea on facebook and started doing it. What I saw recommended vinegar mixed with Dawn. I'm not the best about doing it consistently, but it does work and is convenient.

A friend just told me the secret to a clean shower door is bleach. Bleh! I hate bleach.

We just use a squeegee for our glass shower door, and they're really clean.
Now, when we first moved in, we did put RainEx on the doors, too... :shrug3 That was in April.

Rain Ex! Never thought of that! We spray Clean Shower on the tile walls after each shower. The walls basically stay clean. (I think it smells very mild, but it does bother my mom's asthma). I use a magic eraser to clean the tub, but it never seems 100% clean, so I need some improvement there.

Chemical smells bother me.

A scrub brush and baking soda works great on the tub. I just plug it and put a teeny bit of water I the baking soda gets pasty.
