ISO: Lamb recipes
We have some lamb in our freezer from a gathering this weekend. Organic raised, pasture-fed and everything! :thumbsup
So....we grilled some of it this weekend(with rosemary, lemon zest, salt and pepper--I left out the garlic due to my allergy to that), but I am at a loss as to what to do with the rest of it. It was a little bit tough. I put the leftovers from this weekend in the crockpot and covered it with water to cook it all day and hopefully it will tenderize and I can make it into soup/casserole/something else. What should I do with the two legs of lamb, and the roast? Since the grilled meat was on the tough side, should I marinate the other meats in lemon juice and something else? I've never cooked lamb until today....any pointers will be appreciated! :) |

We love lamb and eat it quite often.
I do a leg or half leg in the crock pot with the potatoes and veg all together. :tu |
Re: ISO: Lamb recipes
What kind of seasonings do you use on it/them?
The lamb in the crockpot needs something..... |
