Juice Jelly Issues- Help!
Ok. So I got some Sure-Jell because the farm supply store was flat out of Ball pectin. One of the canning ideas on the insert was grape jelly from concord grape juice. I have 3 kids who go through jelly faster than most kids go through kool aid. Grapes being over $2 a pound and hard to come by any bags that don't have equal amounts of bad and good grapes, I thought I'd try it out. I followed the directions to the letter. No dice. 24 hours after removing from the canner, the only thing that seemed to be working was the fact the sugar & pectin hadn't seperated from the juice. But it was total liquid.
