Can I use blackstrap molasses and/or agave in place of 1c sugar in pumpkin bread

The recipe also calls for 1/2 c brown sugar, which I fully intend on using because I LOVE brown sugar. :O
Forgot to say I also have maple I can use in place of the sugar, if that would be better? |

I mix and match sugar subs with abandon. Should turn out great in a rich, spicy, moist loaf like pumpkin bread. I wouldn't do a 100% sub, though, between a liquid and a solid, in that high volume.

blackstrap is also considerably less sweet than the others you mention, albeit somewhat nutritious with minerals...that will affect how much you want to use, depending on your taste :nak2
