a fix for wrecked hard boiled eggs?

:sigh For some reason, my no-fail method for hard boiling eggs completely failed on me this morning, and I didn't realize it until it was time for me to grab one from the fridge and crack it open. It's ploppy. It's a total mess, and there are five other ones left, all organic. Is there anything I can do? I do not eat soft-boiled eggs (no one else around here does, either, except the dog).

Ew, YUCK. I think undercooked hard-cooked eggs are disgusting.

I would shell them all, mush them up in a bowl (ewwww), and use them in a casserole where they will be thoroughly baked to get rid of the nasty texture. Perhaps combined with (or used to stretch) ricotta cheese in manicotti or lasagna? But really, any casserole in which the chunky ingredients are bound with a dairy-based sauce or with cheese would probably work. Or as a layer in a meat or vegetable pie.

Just mix it with some dog food for the dog...
oh, that reminds me-years ago, I had a roommate that thought she could cook. She had attempted hard boiled eggs and found they were underdone-her solution-freeze them until they were hard. Needless to say, I didn't eat them.
