Soooooo freaky!

I know we all have stories about how we have looked at an item or discussed a vacation with someone and it later shows up in our facebook feed.
Well, this beats all.....
Years ago, we cloth diapered, and I had a sample of Rockin a green detergent. Three days ago, I found it and decided to use it to wash some stinky laundry to see if it would help. I told no one.

Guess what sponsored post just showed up on my feed?
Fb is invading my brain.

:jawdrop Maybe the cameras saw you. Cameras on our phones, cameras on our computers.

I have had this happen and I don’t allow camera access to FB.

From the studdies I have read about this, some of it is the way your brain works. That you are more likely to register and rember the add when you just interacted with the product or were talking about it.

That could account for the occasional exposure and I remember it happening before smart phones, but it doesn't account for the frequency and reliability of it these days.

Also, nowadays it happens mainly when a kid has activated the microphone permission on one of my apps and then I go in and lock down those permissions again and the problem goes away.
