Liquid melatonin. Is one brand better?
C is having trouble swallowing even 1/2 of a 3 mg. melatonin. I think b/c it's so chalky. So I'm getting him some liquid. It did help while he was taking it.
Is one brand better than another or does it matter? Is there one specially formulated for kids? He's 7, if that matters. |

We use the chewables, but there is also a 1.5 mg spray that is a nice orange flavor that ds likes. We haven't tried liquid. HTH

Not a liquid but may be a possibility...
My son takes melatonin to sleep as well. He gets a whole tab crushed in a spoon with lemon juice (his choice) in the spoon. One spoonful to swallow. Very easy for him to manage. Would that be a possibility for Cias? K |

We use the orange chewables. vitacost.com sells them in a 1 mg tablet. :)

GNC and Whole Foods sell the sublingual melatonin that melts in your mouth. There are different brands that they sell. The last bottle I bought at Whole Foods was 2.5 mg and was Cherry flavored. My dd just chews it up and it works fine. I have bought the orange flavor too.
