anyone use Pomonas pectin?

it allows you to make low (no) sugar jellies and jams. we used it last week to make strawberry, and it turned out really well. just wondered if anyone else has used it...and if so, any thoughts?

i have used it:yes, it worked well for us. i don't use it anymore because i use a raw lower sugar recipe.

which i will have to dig out pretty soon as it is almost strawberry season

I've heard great things about it. So far I've managed to avoid using pectin by making preserves.

I use the recipe in here. Basically you just mix strawberries with sugar, and cook them longer. It uses 3lbs of strawberries and 1 1/2 cups of sugar plus a bit of lemon juice. You layer the strawberries and sugar and let them sit overnight in the fridge, then you gently cook them and water bath can. :)

It is AMAZING. :grin

I've used it too! I love it! I made strawberry jam with honey once, and it was awesome! Yum!
