Re: High Strung - natural remedies?

If caffeine helps you then I would def. try the green tea because the theanine is so good - they use it in Japan for ADHD symptoms because it is illegal to use drugs like ritalin there for kids...... It might help your kids too if you can find a form to get it in them. Most kids like that Arizona brand green tea as an iced drink. It is kind of sweet but some kinds have honey and maybe you could make green tea with tea bagas and cut it in 1/2.There are also Theanine supplements to take but most are capsules so dont know how to get it into real littles........

I drank green tea exclusively ( I drink about a gallon of iced tea a day...caffeine much LOL) and I didn't notice a tiny bit of difference! Nor do I notice a difference now going back on black tea. I am not sure how much theanine I'd have to have LOL.

Black tea, store brand is cheaper, by a third so i went back to that.

Nettle and oatstraw infusions really help my nerves. I also take catnip tea on occasion when I'm feeling extra stressed.
