Is there an online curriculum for learning Microsoft Office?

Something for an 8th grader that teaches you all the things you can do- shortcuts and things like that? I'd love if it was self-directed (like many typing curricula) where you just get on and do the lesson and take the test and it tells you how well you did. Cost isn't really an issue as our online charter would pay for it (provided it's less than $150).

Have you looked at lynda.com? They offer a huge, wide variety of online tutorials including IIRC MSOffice; we use them in our business office (at work) for a variety of training needs (i.e. you can likely access more than just Office training, if you want to!). They tend to be good quality, many have a video/assignment format and definitely adaptable for an 8th grader.

I think I can get that through my library system for free- I will check it out. Thanks!

I've found really good YouTube tutorials about Microsoft office (though I'd make Google docs and Google slides as much of a priority as Office because those programs are frequently used in collaborating projects. When she goes to classes outside the home it will be expected that she'll be fluent in them bc they're taught in schools starting in later elementary).

I teach at a community college and when I was teaching Google docs/slides to my students (adult immigrants), many of them with children commented that their kids helped them navigate the programs bc they learned them in school).
