The first take I got from HTCI is that I have bathroom cleaning supplies in each bathroom, rather than one that I can around to each bathroom.

I love Simplified Organisation. Her iteration mentality is so helpful for when you can't start because of perfectionism/overwhelm. You have to pay for membership but that gives access to all courses, which you can do at your own pace *or* join in a course that's officially running. They just started doing the six-week Sweep and Smile course which is great for setting up basic routines.

Knowing what system she will actually use will be most helpful. There is a organizing lady “clutterbug” who tells you your clutterbug type (bee, cricket, ladybug, butterfly) . Taking the quiz and reading her book was really helpful for me, because I figured out a system that actually works for me

I have never heard of clutterbug but I am either a bee or a cricket. From first glance.

eta: Watching the video . . . not a bee. Either a cricket or the other side.
eta2: after watching some of the other videos - definitely a cricket. Took the test and got cricket. I don't see myself as a perfectionist so I think that was the only reason I didn't immediately pick cricket. Also, in the bee picture there was hooks and I really love hooks. But I do put away every day items. My dh sometimes says but we will use that tomorrow or later today (toaster, coffee grinder) but I would put it away as soon as Im done using it. I need to read more about organizing as a cricket. . .tomorrow.

Oh also. . . I have a pile of sweaters that are sitting on the bench in our bedroom bc I don't have time to put them away for their forever winter home so they are in a neat little pile.
